Lawrence Gilbert

Providing an exciting, informative and interactive environment for learning is the atmosphere that Lawrence Gilbert, CTU Assistant Professor of Business Administration and Academic Advisor, creates for every class he teaches at the school.
With 20 years of active experience in real estate investment and economic development projects in North America, Europe, and Asia, Gilbert brings a global perspective to the macroeconomics, quantitative decision-making and various other business management classes he teaches.
Both in his classes and as an academic advisor to students, Gilbert emphasizes the value of focus and determination in pursuit of one’s goals. Offering counsel to graduates seeking careers in today’s job market, Gilbert suggests remaining competitive by “developing a system to become a lifelong learner.”
Gilbert is actively involved in a number of professional, academic and consulting activities, combining his commitment to education with his interest in international business development for aspiring small and medium size companies.
Lawrence Gilbert joined the Colorado Technical University faculty in 2005.
Lawrence Gilbert’s academic accomplishments include:
- Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, University of Albuquerque
- Master of Public Administration in City Planning and Land Development, University of New Mexico
- Currently completing a Master of Science in Management from Regis University, Denver, Colorado, in 2006
- Currently earning a Doctorate in International Business, Wayne Huizenga School for Professional and Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida
